Dear Friends and Family of HNT and JDS,
As we begin 2024, we want to start with a commitment to send more regular communication about our joint building project on the Barnabie Point portion of the Herzl-Ner Tamid property on Mercer Island. These regular updates are intended to transparently update our communities on the project’s status.
And there is so much to share! Over the course of the fall, our architect has initiated the design of the building, incorporating feedback from the faculty and staff of JDS and HNT. We have also engaged a construction company and an owner’s representative who will oversee the process. These exciting milestones will keep us on track for our July 2026 move-in date.
For those of you not familiar with the HNT property, below you will find a site diagram that illustrates the location of the new building on Barnabie Point in proximity to the HNT sanctuary building.
